Although he majored in electronic broadcast media at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Adrian Tan is now the group manager of Peperoni Pizzeria, in charge of the brand’s growth from marketing initiatives to operations.

After graduating from WKWSCI, he landed a role as a station manager with Singapore Airlines.
Living and working overseas — in Pakistan, Switzerland and Canada — was how the 40-year-old learnt to cook local cuisine, since the taste of home was not readily available there.

After eight years at Singapore Airlines, he enrolled as a student in Sydney’s Le Cordon Bleu culinary academy. Upon completing the three-month course, he joined Peperoni Pizzeria.
