Behind The Scenes With FLMNT.co

A video collective formed by nine WKWSCI undergraduates scores local and international clients over one year.

FLMNT.co is a video collective set up by nine second-year students from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, who were keen to push their boundaries, both as individuals and as a group. In order to stay relevant in a competitive industry, they believe they need to do more than just internships.

Over the span of just one year, FLMNT.co has clinched local and international clients such as blogger Xiaxue and comedian Munah Bagharib. The group’s most notable achievement, thus far, saw them collaborating with Base Entertainment Asia to produce a video for the ‘Mamma Mia!’ musical in Singapore last November. The Facebook video garnered 10,000 views within days of its release.

In February, two members went to Cape Town, South Africa to film a promotional video for Matilda The Musical, which premiered in Singapore in March. To date, the video has 17,000 views on its official Facebook page.
